These Terms govern your use of the StreetSole app. By downloading or using StreetSole, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. About StreetSole
StreetSole is a mobile application that uses GPS technology to track and visualise the streets a user walks. Users build a personalised city exploration map, earn achievements, and can optionally share their progress with friends.
StreetSole is currently provided as a free service. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future, which will always be clearly disclosed in advance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use StreetSole (or 16 in EU member states where applicable). If you are under 18, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
By using the app, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and are not prohibited from using the app under the laws of your country.
3. Your Account
3.1 Creating an account
StreetSole uses Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google for authentication. We do not offer username/password accounts. By signing in, you authorise StreetSole to receive and store basic profile information as described in our Privacy Policy.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us immediately at legal@streetsole.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
3.3 One account per person
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages on leaderboards or achievement tracking.
3.4 Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.
4. Location Permissions
StreetSole requires access to your device location to provide its core functionality. The app requests "Always Allow" location access to enable background street tracking while your phone is in your pocket.
You can modify or revoke location permissions at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services > StreetSole. Revoking location access will prevent the app from tracking walks.
We process location data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share location data with advertisers or data brokers.
